What browsers is the IET Discover toolbar available for?

The IET Discover toolbar is currently available for the following platforms and browsers:

• Windows, Mac OS X , Linux
• Firefox 2.0 or later
• Internet Explorer 6 or later

Subject to demand, we may offer it for other browsers (e.g. Opera and AOL) in the future.

Why can't I install the Firefox toolbar?

If you see this message at the top of your browser window, it means that the Firefox pop-up blocker is preventing you from installing the application.

To override the pop-up blocker, and complete the installation:

• Click the Edit Options button
• Click Allow
• Click the Download Firefox toolbar button again to install the toolbar

 

How do I uninstall the Firefox toolbar?

To uninstall the toolbar:

• Click Tools at the top of your browser window
• Select Add-ons
• Click the Uninstall button, next to the IET Discover plugin
• Restart your browser to complete the uninstall process

 

How do I uninstall the Internet Explorer toolbar?

To uninstall the toolbar:

• Select the IET Discover dropdown menu in the IET Discover toolbar
• Click Uninstall toolbar
• Restart your browser to complete the uninstall process
