A guide to IET Discover
Get a My Discover account
IET Discover is free and open for use by anyone with an interest in engineering, including: industry practitioners, policy makers, students and academics.
You don’t have to be a paying member of the IET to use IET Discover.
Already an IET registered user?
If you already have a login account for the IET family of sites, your My Discover account is ready and waiting. All you have to do is login via the toolbar at the top of the page and click the My Discover tab in the top navigation bar.
Don’t yet have an account?
Click on the Register link in the top navigation bar and follow the short registration process. You will be asked to supply a username, password and email address.
If you are a member of the IET, and you have your membership number to hand, then you can register a member account, otherwise you should register a non-member account (IET members can convert their account at a later date).
Once you’ve registered, just click on the My Discover tab in the top navigation bar to access your account.
