Web 2.0 is not only a new step in technology and it's not seen in foruns or free personal web pages, it's seen in iGoogle Page where the layout changes dinamically acording to the time of day of where you are, or if you not impressed yet, it's on most Google Web Apps, or every type of social software, it's Dinamic Transparent Collaboration. Web 2.0 is a marketing term but not only a marketing term. In the Web 1.0 era, you don't even think about doing sites like Digg or Geni, they simple weren't made , and why cause the tecnology involved was focus on gathering all the Information spread all over the place, in organizations, in peoples home etc, and put it online.   So you're an early adopter and you've run out to buy yourself Asus's $400 Eee PC because it seemed like a great price for a fully functional 2 pound computer that's about the size of a typical hardcover ... book (and far smaller than Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ). But the innovative easy to use interface might get old pretty quickly if you want to do more than surf the web and create letters, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint style presentations for your friends telling them how cool you are because you have an Eee PC while they don't. Asus includes instructions for loading Windows XP onto the Eee PC, but it requires an external DVD drive, some drive compression, and you know, a copy of Windows XP. Curiously, Asus does not include any instructions for unlocking the built-in potential of Xandros Linux, the operating system that ships with the Eee PC.   Virtual game is a 'disease model'

  An outbreak of a deadly disease in a virtual world can offer insights into real life epidemics, scientists suggest. The "corrupted blood" disease spread rapidly within the popular online World of Warcraft ... game, killing off thousands of players in an uncontrolled plague. The infection raged, wreaking social chaos, despite quarantine measures. The experience provides essential clues to how people behave in such crises, Lancet Infectious Diseases reports. In the game, there was a real diversity of response from the players to the threat of infection, similar to those seen in real life. Some acted selflessly, rushing to the aid of other characters even though that meant they risked infection themselves. Others fled infected cities in an attempt to save themselves. And some who were sick made it their mission to deliberately infect others.
