The IET Discover browser toolbars are the best way to add bookmarks to your My Discover account. They also enable you to search and access IET Discover premium engineering content, wherever you are on the web.
This page provides instructions for downloading and installing the IET Discover browser toolbar and search box.
1) The browser toolbar
With the IET Discover browser toolbar, you can:
- Add bookmarks
Click the Add to My Discover button on the toolbar to add a bookmark to your My Discover account. If using Firefox, you can also add bookmarks by right-clicking on the page and selecting the Add to My Discover link in the pop-up menu. - Search IET Discover
Enter keywords in the search box and click the search button. Use the drop-down arrow to choose whether to search My bookmarks, or All bookmarks in IET Discover. By default, the search box is set to search All bookmarks in IET Discover. - Quick link to your account
Use the drop-down arrow next to the IET Discover logo to instantly access your bookmarks, groups, and people, directly from the toolbar.

2) The browser search box
The browser search box plugin adds IET Discover to the search options in your main browser search box.
Installation instructions:
- The plugin will be "auto-discovered" by your browser while you are on this page.
- To activate the plugin, open the search engine options menu, by clicking the adjacent arrow
- Click "Add IET Discover"
